I’m a newlywed living in Calgary with my husband and our elderly cat, Scotty. Although I grew up in small town central Alberta, I’ve had the chance to move around a lot—fun fact: I’ve lived in 18 different houses! These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for change and adaptability. I’d describe myself as caring, resilient, dedicated, and insightful. Outside of work, you can find me reading, skiing, or doing yoga.
I’ve been a medical social worker for over five years, and now, working as a therapist allows me to take the skills I’ve developed in my career even further. What I love most is building genuine, lasting relationships with my clients and being part of their journey toward growth and healing. Dealing with my own health challenges over the years has deeply shaped how I approach therapy. I understand how important it is to feel truly heard and supported. That’s why I create a safe, collaborative space where you can tap into your strengths and build practical tools to help you thrive.
My Therapy Style is Compassionate, Collaborative, Empowering and Solution-Focused!

My “Go-To” Therapy Models
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree and have been practicing as a medical social worker for over five years, specializing in supporting individuals and families navigating complex health challenges. My professional experience includes extensive work in oncology, advanced illness, grief and loss, and the management of chronic health conditions. I have a deep commitment to advocating for the well-being of older adults, having served as Chair of the Gerontological Social Workers Action Group through the Alberta College of Social Workers, Chair of the Gerontology Interest Group at the University of Calgary, and as a Board Member of the Alberta Association of Gerontology.
Throughout my career, I have developed a nuanced understanding of the interplay between physical health, emotional resilience, and social support. I bring a compassionate and realistic approach to therapy, tailoring my work to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for coping with life’s challenges; instead, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, identify their strengths, and develop strategies that feel authentic and sustainable. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
