After spending a decade in Montreal where I got my undergrad, playing in a band, making art, and working with the unhoused population, I am happily settled back in Calgary where I live with my three best friends, and my two dogs! People would describe me as creative, authentic, loving and accepting. Outside of work I am very passionate about building and nurturing community, pottery, music, yoga and backcountry camping!
I'm so excited to meet you! Whether you are in a crisis or just want someone to talk to, I can help you find joy in healing. You can tell me absolutely anything and I won't be shocked nor will I judge you. I will do my absolute best to make you feel safe, heard, accepted and empowered. My approach is somatic, collaborative, and trauma-informed, focusing on building a safe relationship where you can practice setting boundaries and communicating. I help you reconnect with yourself by exploring how trauma is stored in your body.
With my personal experience in recovery and extensive work with people who use substances, I'm passionate about harm reduction, addiction, codependency, addicted family systems and recovery. I deeply value reconciliation, decolonization, social justice, and inclusivity, and approach each relationship with full acceptance and curiosity.
As a queer person in a polyamorous relationship, I bring lived experience in navigating identity and discrimination and can support you in your path.
My Therapy Style is warm, safe, fun, somatic and challenging.

My “Go-To” Therapy Models
I am currently finishing my Masters in Clinical Social Work at the University of Calgary with a specialization in Adult Mental Health and Addictions! My undergraduate degree was in Sociology, where I focused on gender, sexuality and race.
Before settling in Calgary, I worked in Montreal with unhoused indigenous folks, and at a group home in Nunavut with Inuit youth. In Calgary, I was a caseworker with newly housed people in active addiction, and an intern therapist in a detox/recovery center. I am passionate about decolonization, helping people heal from trauma, and getting back in touch with their true needs and self.
In my last practicum placement, I was tasked with supporting the Calgary Drop-In Centre to develop a Trans-Friendly unit where the unhoused trans community can feel safe and supported. My passion is working front-line with clients, however I am always an advocate for appropriate community programming and supports for underserved populations.
I am both English and French speaking, and happy to offer FREE sessions to any Indigenous identifying persons during my internship with Kindred Roots!
