therapy office

I live in Calgary, with my three dogs (Jax, Hamlet & Peach) who keep life playful and full of energy. My loved ones would describe me as compassionate, understanding, inquisitive and silly. I’m someone that’s always drawn to the road less traveled, both in life and in my work. You will typically find me veering off the common path to take the longer way home - as long as it provides some adventure and laughter.

Curiosity has always been my defining trait—both personally and professionally. I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories, and that’s what drew me to therapy: the deep, complex layers of the human experience. As a therapist, I bring that same curiosity to every session, helping you explore what’s going on beneath the surface, without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and deeply rooted in empathy. I want you to feel heard and understood in a way that feels natural and comfortable. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to walk beside you.

My Therapy Style is genuine, warm, empathetic, relational & curious

My “Go-To” Therapy Models

I have always known that I would enter a helping profession. My journey began in veterinary medicine and zoology, where I found myself drawn to the emotional needs of the people caring for their furry companions. This focus on human connection, paired with my own personal experiences, led me to pursue a career in Social Work. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Calgary and am currently working on my Master of Social Work (MSW), specializing in clinical gerontology.

Over the years, I have gained experience working in non-profit senior housing, long-term care, and acute care settings, where I focused on life transitions, chronic illness and grief. These experiences deepened my passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments, especially in later stages of life. My approach combines empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the human experience, especially as we navigate transitions, health challenges, and loss. I’m here to offer support, guidance, and a safe space for healing and growth, no matter where you are in your journey.
