therapy office

I live in Calgary, Alberta with my husband. Growing up only a short distance from the mountains, I am passionate about exploring the outdoors and connecting to nature by bike or foot. Along the way, I cherish having quality time, making authentic connections, and belly-laughing with those around me. At any point, you will find me seeking out the best cup of coffee, chocolate croissant, or anything with a peanut butter flavor!

People describe me as passionate, warm, and patient – all qualities I value bringing into my work as a therapist. My approach to therapy includes offering a space that is calm, inviting, and collaborative with a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships and fostering meaningful connections.

My Therapy Style is CURIOUS, ADAPTIVE, COMPASSIONATE, & REFLECTIVE

My “Go-To” Therapy Models

From a young age, I was passionate about pursuing a career in a helping profession and making positive impacts on the lives of others. Before landing in the profession of social work, I started my career in the area of nursing within diverse healthcare settings. Through this experience, I became increasingly curious about the intersecting emotional and psychological needs of individuals and their families. My curiosity led me to further pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Master’s Degree in Social Work with a specialization in mental health and health. In my role as a social worker, I have had the opportunity to build further experience in acute care settings, mental health/addictions, and women’s health. My most recent experience has included further pursuing my passion for women’s health and specializing in the area of perinatal mental health.

My counseling approach draws from my personal and professional experiences to help clients navigate life challenges, develop authentic connections, and foster sustainable, meaningful change. I can provide tailored approaches to the unique needs and goals of my clients while also utilizing evidence-based interventions. Together, we can find a path to increased resiliency, confidence, and happiness!
